If you want to have some regular readers to your blog, make sure that they get something out of your blogs. What I mean is that after they finish reading your blog they will feel a bit smarter because of what you have written. Again make it your job to educate and inform. It is always a good feeling to know that you have learned something new, try to invoke that feeling to your readers. It does not mean that you should only write high concept ideas, again you could write anything that you are knowledgeable about and that you want to share to other people who might benefit from your knowledge. This could include mundane things from what color matches this color to what you need to survive in the jungles of the Amazon. The point is be informative, they might not use it today but that knowledge will come in handy someday.
